๐Ÿ”ญ Back-pocket concept (Jul 31): StormRush is launching as a pure game โ€” no sponsors, no prizes. This page is the "businesses pay to place the endpoint" idea, kept warm for later. โ† the game

Fill your slowest hour
with a storm.

Founding season: coffee shops, cafes & bakeries (restaurants join next). Players race the storm across the neighborhood to your counter โ€” at full price. You stake nothing, your staff do nothing, and the prizes are on us. You book a Tuesday, and you watch the room fill.

$25 flat per storm โ€” free if fewer than 10 arrive
$0 staked โ€” StormRush funds every prize
Full price โ€” no discounts at your register, ever
Nothing for your staff to do โ€” no scans, no codes
The winner's prize is a $15 tab at your shop, funded by us โ€” we literally buy a gift card from you. Fewer than 10 verified arrivals? The storm's free. That risk is ours.

Which hour is always slow?

Storms run every Tuesday โ€” the slowest day of the week, on purpose. Claim yours, then pick the stretch that hurts: the crowd arrives at your dead zone, not your rush.

Here's what happens โ€” and what doesn't

The storm ends at your door and the crowd walks in paying full price. StormRush funds every prize; your register never discounts a thing.

โœ“Winner: a $15 tab at your shop โ€” we buy the gift card from you, so the prize itself is revenue. One finisher drawn weekly: a $5 credit. Your only role is ringing them up.
โœ“Nothing. No codes to scan, no discounts to apply, no briefing. If it's busier than usual for an hour on a Tuesday, that's the product working.
โœ“A live arrivals page on your phone during the hour ("23 in the storm ยท 14 arrived"), the room filling in front of you, and a next-day report: arrivals, first-timers, repeat players.

3You watch: the live arrivals page on your phone, and the door. Players buy at full price; the winner spends our gift card.
4Next day: the report โ€” led by what matters: first-time customers and returning players, every arrival GPS-verified and timestamped. It ends with your next open Tuesday.

Host questions

What does hosting cost?

$25 flat per storm โ€” and that's the whole bill. No free items, no discounts, no per-head fees; the crowd pays full price and StormRush funds the prizes. If fewer than 10 verified arrivals show up, the storm is free โ€” that risk is ours. Founding hosts pay no platform fee on their first three storms.

How do I know it worked?

You watch it happen twice: live, on the arrivals page during the hour and through your own front door; and next day, in the report โ€” first-time customers, returning players, every arrival GPS-verified at walking pace and timestamped. Compare: a new customer from paid ads typically runs $30โ€“80, estimated by an ad platform. A storm that draws 20 arrivals costs you $1.25 a head, witnessed.

What if a crowd shows up all at once?

Then you sold a lot of coffee at full price during your dead hour โ€” there's no discount, so a packed room is pure upside. The storm window is an hour, arrivals spread across it, and the bill is $25 no matter what.

Why is my shop hidden during the game?

Mystery is what makes the game fair (nobody can camp your door) and it makes the final reveal your branded moment โ€” the whole field learns your name at once, then walks toward it.

Can I cancel?

Any time up to the morning of the storm, no charge, no questions. Day-of emergencies: one call and we cancel the challenge safely โ€” players are notified instantly.
