A battle-royale storm closes over the neighborhood. Dodge it on live GPS, outlast the field, and be first to the hidden endpoint — a plaza, a mural, a corner of the park, revealed only as the circles close. Winner takes the day. Every finisher keeps the streak.
StormRush hasn't launched yet — you're looking at the working preview. The first storm's host, hour, and prize will be announced with the first storm warning, and the lobby hears it before anyone else.
Every Tuesday, at an hour that rotates — morning one week, mid-afternoon the next — the warning hits: the storm is live, somewhere in the neighborhood a hidden endpoint is waiting.
Join from your live GPS position inside the zone. You get 100 HP — the storm drains it if it catches you outside the circle.
Six phases, ~60 minutes, walking pace. The circles drift toward a mystery front door — read the drift, place your bets, stay ahead of the wall.
The endpoint is revealed in the final phase. First survivor verified there takes the day — the crown, the top of the recap, storm #N with your name on it. Every finisher inside the hour extends their streak.
The live match is up in the hero — here's the rest of a storm: the warning that starts it, the winning scan, and why even getting eliminated still ends with a pastry.
One push, every Tuesday. The hour rotates week to week — the warning names the time, the neighborhood, and the prize. Never the host.
First one there wins the day. The endpoint reveals in the final phase — first survivor verified on the spot takes storm #12 forever.
Losing still counts. Eliminated players who make it within the hour log a finish — streak extended, name in the recap.
The classic shrinking-circle cadence, stretched across three kilometers of real city. Hold. Shrink. Repeat — until the safe zone is one front door.
Each new circle drifts toward the hidden host. Reading the drift early is the skill.
100 HP, no regen. Caught in the storm, you lose 2–30 HP a minute depending on the phase.
Nobody knows whose door the storm ends at until the final circles — so you play the storm, not the address.
StormRush is built so the smart way to play is never the dangerous way.
Above ~15 mph the game pauses — health frozen, position hidden. Arrivals at vehicle speed don't count. Nobody wins by driving.
The storm moves slower than you walk. Winning is positioning and deduction over an hour — never a footrace to a door.
Phase changes come as audio and haptics. Street-crossing zones are never on the storm's edge, and challenges pause in severe weather.
The day. Each storm has exactly one winner, forever — your name on that storm number, the crown in the recap, the top of the season board. Finishers keep streaks; streaks become titles. No gift cards, no coupons, no sponsored anything at launch — the game is the prize, the way a chess rating or a race medal is.
Yes — always. No purchase necessary, no entry fee, no paid advantages. Winners owe nothing for the prize; it's staked by the host before the challenge starts.
Be alive when the storm closes and be the first survivor verified at the endpoint — GPS-checked, at walking pace, with a real dwell (not a drive-by). Winning routes are reviewed before the crown is confirmed; arrivals at vehicle speed are void.
You're out of the running for the day, but a finish is still a finish — arrive within the hour and your streak survives, and your run makes the recap. The storm respects the attempt.
Anyone 18 or older with a phone and working legs, within the day's challenge zone. Minors can't enter — GPS games and traffic are a real combination and we treat them that way.
Your GPS is used only while a challenge is live — for the storm, your position, and arrival verification. It's never sold, and match traces are deleted after 30 days.
The game pauses at vehicle speed and resumes when you're back at walking pace. Bikes at a casual pace are fine; sustained fast movement voids the run. The rule is the same for everyone, so nobody gains by breaking it.
Free to play. One winner per storm. A neighborhood full of front doors.
